I have seen many people complaining there is no audio in far cry 3 and there is sound of all activities and audio but there is no sound for character dialogues. most people can hear all the background sounds and music but the sound of characters in the ingame cutscenes are not hearing.. The issue. no sound during far cry 4 intro or sound cuts out half way through the intro at the start of the game. this no sound issue also continues into game play and may arise anywhere through out the game.. Far cry 4 no sound/subtitle after first cutscene. when i installed far cry 4 for the first time on my new custom-built gaming pc, i noticed that after the first video scene, i have no sound whatsoever, i also couldn't see the subtitle which i already enabled in the game settings..
After far cry primal launch the sound is present in intro or cut-scene, but as soon as the gameplay starts there are no sound or any sound effects in far cry primal.. This game has exactly the same xaudio2 bug as far cry 4 and watch dogs have: for realtek audio devices (for example the alc1150) using dts interactive or dolby digital live to output 5.1 surround over spdif (hooked up to a receiver), you will only get working sound in the menus and maybe cutscenes, but not in game. workarounds:.
